Mike Nowak '92 was reassigned to Oracle's development organization, Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) in June, 2006. He is the author of a white paper, "Best Practices for Optimizing Availability During Unplanned Outages Using Oracle Clusterware and Oracle Real Application Clusters."

The MAA group at Oracle develops high availability best practices/solutions for customers as well as design new HA features for future versions of our products.
