Secondary Concentration:
For non-majors, the following courses constitute a Secondary Concentration in
Computer Science: 131, 132, 231, and two electives***.
* All three electives must be Computer Science courses numbered between 240 and
380. With the permission of the student's advisor and the program director, one
of the electives may be taken in areas other than computer science that have
been approved by the program. These courses must be at the 300 level or above.
** The three foreign language credits must be taken at the 202 level
*** The two electives must be Computer Science courses numbered between 240 and
380. Students who plan to seek entry level positions as software engineers are
encouraged to take at least two courses beyond the minimum secondary
concentration requirement.
