Bonaventure Computer Science is a member of the Microsoft Developers Academic Alliance, which enables students to obtain any Microsoft developer product free of charge. This includes Visual Studio and all of the .Net Framework languages. It also includes Windows XP Professional and, in January 2007, Vista.

It does not, however, include Microsoft Office. Make sure you purchase Office Professional, for we do use Microsoft Access® in the Database Management Systems course.
